Ito-san attended the opening ceremony of Peanuts Artist, YOSHI's exhibit at Bell City Suzuka on Dec 11th, 2008 with his teammate, Teruyo Tanaka who is the bronze medalist of 100m T52 at Beijing Paralympic.
YOSHI is the acclaimed and only artist who is licensed by Charles M. Schulz to draw snoopy in Japan. YOSHI is born in Suzuka, Mie which is Ito-san's hometown, and has been one of a close friend and the supporter to Ito-san. Mr. YOSHI has been on the Japan tour of "PEANUTS-FOUND IN TRANSLATION" which started at Charles M Shultz Museum in 2002.
During the opening ceremony, Ito-san attended the tape-cut and gave speech as YOSHI's friend and cerebrated YOSHI's achievement. |
